Louisiana Drive-thru Daiquiri Laws Might Change

Drive-thru daiquiri's, keep a lid on it. A Baton Rouge senator is putting forth a new bill that will make it illegal to serve them with lids that can be punctured with a straw.

Senator Dan Claitor said, "many buyers of the beverages put their straw in their drink and then drive to where they are going." He said, "this should violate the open container law."

He also said, "I don't see why anyone would oppose this."
