Drought Continues

Despite storm systems that have swept across Louisiana recently, much of the state is suffering from a lack of rain. State Climatologist Barry Keim says the  U.S. Drought Monitor reports nearly 90-percent of the state is classified as suffering from a drought condition.  He says the drought is deemed extreme or exceptional in one-third of the state.
