Drug Agents Arrest Two St. Martinville Men

Narcotics agents in St. Martin Parish have arrested two people after finding illegal drugs in their home.

Major Ginny Higgins with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office says they conducted an investigation after receiving several complaints of drug activity at the home on S. Theater Street in St. Martinville.

Higgins says on Friday, narcotics agents obtained a warrant to search the home. Agents found “crack cocaine, cocaine powder, marijuana, prescription pills” and money inside the home.

25-year-old Terrance Thomas of St. Martinville and 32-year-old Marcus Bourda of St. Martinville were arrested on several drug charges.
