Drug Busts In Vermilion Parish

Members of the Vermilion Municipal and Sheriff's Narcotics Task Force have been busy on the streets of Vermilion Parish.

The Vermilion Sheriff Mike Couvillon's Office says there have been five more arrests in the battle against narcotics in the parish.

The following people were arrested:

• Coby Bolden, (dob: 8-16-1982, of Abbeville), was arrested in Abbeville for Possession of Schedule I, (Synthetic Marijuana)
• Kimberly Bodine, (dob:8-5-1982, of Abbeville), was arrested in Abbeville for Distribution of Schedule II, (Crack Cocaine)
• Brian Keith Landry, (dob:9-12-1967, of Abbeville), was arrested in Abbeville for Distribution of Schedule II, (Crack Cocaine)
• Ricky Meaux, (dob: 4-1-1967, of Abbeville), was arrested in Abbeville for Possession of Schedule II, (Crack Cocaine)
• Amanda Finley, (dob: 8-19-1990, of Baton Rouge), was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule I, (Synthetic Marijuana)

Officials have posted photos for Bolden, Landry and Meaux, but they were technical issues with the photos for Finley and Bodine.

Sheriff Couvillon says his officers will continue to work with officers from Abbeville, Kaplan, Gueydan, Maurice and Erath in order to remove drugs from the streets of these and surrounding communities.
