Lafayette City Parish President Joey Durel joined "Mornings With Ken & Bernie' today to talk about the latest in road developments, FEMA flood maps, and the Rand McNally contest "Best of the Road" during today's edition of "Lafayette Live".

Durel spent time on this morning's show taking a few questions from audience members about when major roadways in the city might be getting overlayed, but the projects that callers asked about where all either under the jurisdiction of the State of Louisiana or the federal government. 

Mr. Durel also spent a few minutes touching on the subject of flood maps created by the Federal Emergency Management Agency that detail where flood zones are in the parish of Lafayette.  The new maps are still subject to review.

Durel also spent time on today's show talking about Rand McNally's "Best of the Road" competition in which Lafayette is a finalist for the best food category.
