Elizabeth Man Dies From Fatal Car Crash In Allen Parish

Just after 7:00 Sunday night, Louisiana State Troopers in Allen Parish responded to a call about a single vehicle crash that took a mans life.

On highway 10 just west of Highway 112, investigation shows that a pickup truck driven by Gregory Edward Moore was heading east when it left the road. Police have not determined why the pickup left the road.

Once off the highway, the pickup struck an embankment and Moore was ejected from his vehicle.  Moore was not wearing a seatbelt.

The Allen Parish Coroner's Office pronounced Moore dead at the scene. A toxicology sample was submitted for analysis and the crash remains under investigation.
