Emergency Lane Closure In St. Landry Parish

State Tranporation officials want drivers to know about an emergency situation that the department is dealing with today.

DOTD officials have closed outside lane on the eastbound side of US Highway 190 at Wartell Avenue. This is between Lewis Street and Veazie Avenue.

Emergency repairs are needed for that lane.

Officials say this intersection in Opelousas is expected to reopen at about 6 o'clock tonight.

DOTD officials ask all drivers to slow down in repair zones.
