End Of The World? Please — Not Necessarily The News

Hey! I’m Tootie Landry and this is what I found out today! With December 21^st fast approaching, I needed to find out if the world was truly ending. Since I was recently in Mexico on vacation who better to go talk to than a Mayan descendent! With my interpreter, Sergio in tow, I headed to the Mayan ruins in the city of Tulum.

It was there I was introduced to two Mayan men, Victor and Antonio. I couldn’t wait to ask them, “Should I be stockpiling food, water, or ammunition?” After all, I’ve seen the show Doomsday Preppers on the National Geographic Channel. And I’m thinking compared to the Fiscal Cliff, the Mayan Calendar ending may not be so bad!

This is what Victor said, “@#$%#$*%(#*%(@#*$%(*! (Recording)” Now, for all I know he could have said, “Another dumb blonde American girl wasting my time!”

However, he assured me we are going into a new era of peace, harmony, and good comings. Folks, this is serious business! So I asked him pointblank, “Do I need to buy new calendars as stocking stuffers this year?” I was shocked as they turned and walked away, lol. So my suggestion to you, I wouldn’t quit my job or run up my credit cards because December 22^nd is also fast approaching.
