Whooping Crane Repopulation Efforts Continue In Louisiana

More whooping cranes were released into the wild yesterday. State Wildlife and Fisheries agents have been attempting to repopulate the species. Bo Boehringer, LDWF spokesman, says that the birds were released yesterday, but several were killed by predators and two were killed by poachers.
