Entergy To Build New Power Plant

Entergy Louisiana announced plans yesterday to build a 550-megawatt natural gas unit at its Nine Mile Point plant in Westwego.  The company says the 720-million-dolllar state-of-the-art Nine Mile 6 unit could result in savings for customers ranging from 26-million-dollar to 53-million-dollars per year.
