ESA Selects New Headmaster

Dr. Paul Baker, interim head of the school for the past year will officially become Headmaster at the Episcopal School of Acadiana on July 1, 2014.

Prior to becoming interim Headmaster Baker served as Head of the Upper and Middle Schools for five years. During his 18 years at ESA Baker has taught science and music in the middle and upper school, produced musicals, coached the golf team, provided music for chapels and other functions.

Dr. Baker earned his Ph.D. at UL and holds a number of other degrees. He is an active composer and his original works have been played around the country with his 'Requiem of Psalms' premiering at Carnegie Hall. Baker has performed with various groups in the area as a tenor soloist and pianist.
