28-year-old Brian Pete, the convicted armed robber who escaped custody while being transported to the Caldwell Correctional Center, was found at a home in Breaux Bridge.

That's according to our news partners at KATC, who say the inmate escaped in Carencro Monday. He bolted to freedom weaing handcuffs and shackles while one deputy was using the restroom and the other was putting gas into their van.
