SAPULPA, Okla. (AP) — A Louisiana prison escapee has been found in northeastern Oklahoma.

US marshals say 41-year-old Wilson Bryant was found and arrested Friday in Sapulpa where he was working in a housing addition.

Online jail records show Bryant is being held in the Creek County jail pending extradition.

Authorities say Bryant and another inmate escaped the Madison Correctional Center in Tallulah in northeastern Louisiana in late June. The other escapee has been arrested in Mississippi.

Bryant was serving a 15-year prison sentence for manslaughter in the death of a man in 2013.
