Eunice City Lake To Be Drained

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries announces  plans  to drain Eunice City Lake,

remove all the fish--then restock it with bass, bluegill and other fish. Many were turned off to fishing in the lake after a string of train cars derailed in 2000 and dumped hazardous materials and chemicals into the lake.
