Eunice Man Dies In Crash

A man dies in an early morning crash. Trooper Stephen Hammons says it happened around 6:40 a.m. on Highway 13 at Highway 29.

Hammons says Tommy Dore of Church Point was driving his Dodge truck south on Highway 13 when, for unknown reasons, his truck crossed the centerline and hit another Dodge truck head on. The driver of the second truck, Adam Meaux of Eunice, died at the hospital. Dore suffered minor injuries.

Routine toxicology samples have been taken. Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
