A Eunice man faces from 15 to 40 years in prison for convincing a minor girl to send him sexually explicit pictures.

U.S. Attorney Stephanie Finley reported 35-year-old Adam Shilow delivered his guilty plea for receiving material involving sexual exploitation of a minor.

According to the plea, Shilow contacted a 12-year-old girl via social media portraying himself as a male juvenile. The juvenile's mother notified law enforcement of Shilow's correspondence after discovering an inappropriate message on her daughter's phone in November 2013.

Shilow faces 15 to 40 years in prison, five years to life of supervised release and a $250,000 fine.
