Eunice Murder Suspect Kills Himself

Peter Batiste who was wanted for murder shot and killed himself inside a home in Lawtell.  

The U.S. Marshall's office along with Eunice Police and the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's office are all on the scene.  Batiste was wanted for a Eunice murder that took place in early March.
