Friday, Eunice Police responded to a burglary at Babineaux Concrete on 12th street. Items taken included a safe containing $20,000 in cash, an AK-47 rifle and an AR-15 rifle. Investigators learned that 48 year old John Turner had recently been fired from Babineaux Concrete.

When detectives went to Turner's home on 7th Street in Mamou and knocked on the door they saw two men running out the back door.
