EUNICE, La. (KPEL) — No one was harmed during the armed robbery of a casino in Eunice Thursday night.

Deputy Chief Varden Guillory with the Eunice Police Department says a suspect walked into the Bayou Gold Casino, pointed a handgun at the face of an employee, and demanded money.

Guillory says the suspect managed to get away with an undetermined about of cash.

The suspect is described as a while male, about 5-foot-5. He was wearing a black t-shirt, plaid shorts, and a black bandana covering his face.

Guillory says there is a person of interest they are searching for, and the case remains under investigation.
