20-year-old Amber Brickey has been arrested on an Aggravated Battery Charge.

Deputy Chief Varden Guillory with the Eunice Police Department says the 20-year-old boyfriend told them he was riding in the car with Brickey when he asked her to drop him off at an apartment on Jake Street. The victim told police as he was getting out of the vehicle, Brickey accelerated which caused him to fall. That's when the car allegedly rolled over him, injuring his right arm, right hip and right knee area.

Police say they later found the 2005 Ford Focus abandoned outside the city limits. They eventually found Brickey and arrested her on Saturday. She's in the Eunice City Jail on a $7,000.00 bond.

The victim has since been released from the hospital.
