Evangeline Parish Judge Sentences Sewage Treatment Company President To Three Years

A sewage treatment company president gets three years in jail. An Evangeline Parish judge has sentenced Joseph Jones to jail, fined his Plaisance Development Corporation $150,000, fined him personally $80,000 along with Jones and the company getting five years of supervised probation.  An Evangeline Parish jury convicted Jones and the company in September on 15 felony counts each. The company operates six sewage treatment plants for residential subdivisions in Evangeline Parish.
