Evangeline Parish Murder Trial Starts This Week

The two men accused of killing 32 - year old Joseph John and the attempted murder of Derricke John began in Evangeline Parish this week.

KATC reports that the trial will last at least a week. Hilton Wilson and Reokenski Thomas are being tried together for the murder and attempted murder in July of 2013.

Both men could spend life in prison if convicted.
