Evangeline Parish Relay for Life is May 2

Our friends at the American Cancer Society will hold their annual Relay for Life in Evangeline Parish on Saturday, May 2. Activities will be held at Ville Platte High School from noon until 12:00 am. Among the fun events leading up to Relay For Life, the Cops For A Cure team (Ville Platte Police Department) held a Jail & Bail fundraiser, which raised $1,900.00 to date. There will be remembrance luminaria bags for sale, great food, games, music, a lantern release, and a survivors walk, so make plans to bring the family out and support Relay for Life Evangeline Parish! The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is the world's largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer.
