The St. Landry-Evangeline Sexual Assault Center (SLESAC) and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of St. Landry-Evangeline, Inc. are proud to announce their partnership to create the 5th Annual Crime and Abuse Prevention Walks/Rallies for St. Landry Parish and Evangeline Parish. SLESAC and CASA will host a walk for each parish, honoring the National Crime Victims’ Rights Week-April 8-14, 2018. There will also be a program, free food, along with other activities for the community.
Here is the walk schedule:
- Saturday, April 7th - The St. Landry Parish walk begins at the Opelousas North City Park at 10 am, down Market Street towards the South City Park
- Saturday, April 14th - The Evangeline walk starts at the 13th Judicial District Courthouse at 10 am, concluding at the Ville Platte Boys' and Girls' Place.
