Today Bruce Hopman, Middle Child Blogger/Activist and self-appointed spokesman for the self-created International Middle Child Union (I.M.C.U.), joined 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' to discuss the much ignored MIDI Awards.

According to Hopman,

It's kind of ironic that the award show that honors attention seeking behavior gets no attention.  Such is the life of the middle child.

Hopman went on to say,

I realize we don't that we don't have the kind of budget like the Academy Awards or the Golden Globes have but still I spent a nice chunk of change at Party City.  I decorated the basement.  I got four full trays of Rice Krispy Treats.  I don't know what I'm going to do with them now.  It's not easy throwing an awards show...I hired a 30 piece orchestra for intro music and stuff like that.  What am I going to do with them.  They're all staying in my guest room.  It's really awkward and uncomfortable.

When we asked where our NewsJunkies could get more information on the MIDI awards Hopman said,

If you want to go today to the blog Smackdabblog.com you can find out all the winners of this year's awards.  Some are middle children.  Some are not.  This year we are also giving our Life Time Achievement Award to someone who has basically dedicated his life trying to be the center of attention Donald Trump is the winner....Put aside all his bogus political aspirations, his unprovoked celebrity squabbles, his testy twitter tirades, his presidential birther obsessions and basic media whoring aside.  He would still be a first ballot inductee for one simple reason.  That is because of his hair.  You do not wear your hair like that unless you are trying to get attention.
