If you frequently travel on Interstate 220, expect some headaches and delays this week. The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will be continuing work on I 220 this week as they put the finishing touches on the new I-49 connector.

DOTD will shut down portions of the interstate while they work on the east bound lanes between North Market and Hilry Huckaby. Work is scheduled daily between 8 am and 3 pm. Below is the detailed list of scheduled work for the week.
