Explosion At Camp Minden Shakes Neighboring Buildings
MINDEN, La. (AP) — Authorities in Webster Parish in northwest Louisianasay an explosion at the Camp Minden industrial site was the source of a loud, ground-rattling boom late Monday.
The Webster Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that the explosion happened in an underground bunker at a Camp Minden business called Explo.
There were no injuries reported. Residents said they heard a loud boom around 11:30 p.m. Monday and some said the ground and buildings shook.
