Extreme Heat Shifts New Orleans Street Car Tracks

The extremely hot weather is getting the blame for the shifting of one of the two tracks used by the riverfront street cars in New Orleans. 

One of the tracks was found to have buckled Saturday afternoon in the heat.  Repairs are expected to get underway today.  That line of street cars links the French Quarter and the Convention Center.
