Facebook is doing its best to eliminate "Fake News."

The social media platform announced this week that independent researchers are going to start fact-checking memes. Plus, there will even be fact-checking videos people post on their page.

According to what I read, those on Facebook will also be able to "flag" photos or videos that they suspect to be "fake." Now, keep in mind, Facebook may not be able to get to all the memes we think are fake, but they will investigate those that go viral.

I ask, how do you feel about this? Are you glad to see Facebook being proactive when it comes to eliminating photos or videos that could be misleading? Let us know in the comment section below.

Facebook has been addressing articles that appear to be fake, but they don't totally eliminate them from the platform. You simply don't see them in your News Feed.
