The Family Research Council is endorsing Congressman Jeff Landry in his race for Louisiana's 3rd congressional seat.

The FRC is known for being an active traditional family values advocacy organization that backs pro-life and pro-family policies. They are among other conservative and TEA Party groups such as National Right to Life, Freedom Works, Citizens United, the Tea Party Nation, and the Tea Party of Louisiana that have endorsed the New Iberia congressman.

"Congressman Landry has worked tirelessly on behalf of faith, family, and freedom in his first term in Congress. He is a champion for life and for fiscal sanity," declared Tony Perkins, President of Family Research Council Action. "Congressman Landry is a true conservative and has the voting record to prove it. He is a true advocate for the issues that best uphold and strengthen families, and we are proud to support his candidacy."

"I am honored to be endorsed by the Family Research Council and look forward to continue representing Louisiana’s 3rd District," said Landry. "I have worked hard to advance Louisiana’s conservative values in Congress and will continue to do all I can to save the unborn, champion pro-family policies, and promote the sanctity of life."

Landry is running against fellow Lafayette Congressman Charles Boustany, as well as a few other candidates, in this November's election.
