This is going to be an exciting year for Ragin Cajun football. The Cajuns are set to open play in Lexington Kentucky this evening against the Kentucky Wildcats of the Southeastern Conference. While Cajun Football gives us a lot of reasons to be excited on the field, there have been some changes made in the Cajun's broadcast team and programming that will offer Cajun fans even more information and the chance to be a part of the show.

The Cajun Tailgate Show will be aired live beginning two hours before kickoff from the Mellow Mushroom on Johnston Street. Cajun fans are encouraged to come by have a bite and a beverage and interact with hosts Steve Peloquin and Gerald Broussard. Steve has been the Cajun's sideline reporter for the past several seasons and Gerald Broussard a former Cajun's coach has been in the booth providing color commentary for the games.

Steve and Gerald, "The He-man and the G-Man", will now be onsite at Mellow Mushroom providing insight into the upcoming game. In addition to player features and interviews the newly revamped version of the Cajun Tailgate Show will allow fans to call in with questions or ask questions in person at the restaurant.

The Cajun Tailgate show will be on the air beginning at 4pm today on ESPN 1420, ESPN and the radioPup App.  The Ragin Cajun Radio Network picks up the broadcast beginning at 5pm on Hot 107.9 locally.
