Father Sentenced For Using Daughter For Pornography

A father who sexually exploited his daughter in child pornography has been sentenced to 30 years in prison. Clyde Pontefract of Elizabeth pleaded guilty in December of 2010 to producing child pornography. Court documents say the daughter was a minor and that Pontefract used her to engage in sexually explicit conduct. For example, he would have her stand completely nude in the woods while he used a Polaroid instant film camera to take photographs. U.S. Attorney Stephanie Finley says for over ten years, Pontefract subjected his daughter to both physical and sexual abuse, all while taking pictures of her in various states of undress and posed in sexually explicit positions.
