Festival Weather? There’s An App For That!

How will the weather be for Festival International? Our friends in the KATC TV-3 Storm Team 3 Weather Lab say Saturday's forecast is cloudy with a slight chance of rain. Sunday's rain chances are better, but you might want to pack an umbrella or poncho before you head out for a day of fun and music.

The best tool you can have is your smartphone loaded with the free Festival International app. It's available for iPhones and Android phones. There are many great features on it, including a link to the KATC radar which allows you to play "lawnchair meteorologist" while you're out and about. A look at the Doppler lets you know when you may need to duck into a restaurant or under something just in time to get out of a passing shower.
