HOUMA, La. (AP) — A fight involving several students led to an afternoon lockdown at South Terrebonne High School.

The Courier of Houma reports that the fight at first involved two female students. Then some male students jumped in.

Five students were arrested after the Thursday brawl. Sheriff Jerry Larpenter said a deputy used a stun device on an 18-year-old student.

Officials said a lockdown was ordered to keep the fight from escalating.
