The last remaining suspect in a home invasion from May 15 in St. Landry Parish is now behind bars after being arrested Wednesday in Iberia Parish.

Capt. Megan Vizena with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office said 26-year-old Jessica Rose-Pickett was arrested by members of the Iberia and Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Offices, as well as members of the U.S. Marshals Office.

During the home invasion, the victim was beaten and was restrained. One of the suspects allegedly planned to cut his throat, Vizena said. The victim was somehow able to break free and run for help.

Four other arrests have been made in the case.

Rose-Puckett was charged with home invasion, armed robbery, false imprisonment with a firearm, attempted first-degree murder, and criminal conspiracy. Bond was set at $750,000.
