Late last week a White House on-line petition was started by Kurt Nimmo of the website infowars.com demanding that CNN's Piers Morgan be deported.  The petition states,

British Citizen and CNN television host Piers Morgan is engaged in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment.  We demand that Mr. Morgan be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens.”

As of Saturday 6,600 signatures of the required 25,000 had been received and the ever smug Morgan quipped tweeting at one point:

“6,600 Americans have currently signed the petition to deport me – meaning 311,993,400 clearly want me to stay. Thank you.”

Piers, the 6,600 signatures mean that the rest of America doesn't have a clue who you are and don't watch your sorry excuse for a television show.  I for one would prefer to watch daily reruns of "Groundhog Day".  What an arrogant, pompous ass!  We could get Piers Morgan and Simon Cowell on the same show and call it "Dumb And Dumber Come To America".  Thank God all the other Brits I know are so much nicer than Piers Morgan or Simon Cowell.  I digress...Simon Cowell, some other time, some other opinion piece!

Morgan says in another tweet that is ironic that so many Americans are upset by his exercise of his first amendment right.  I look at this way.  He's a British citizen so let him go back to the UK to exercise his right to free speech.

I'm certainly not advocating violence but I really am surprised that somebody has punched out Morgan's lights yet.  Probably because only 6,600 people have tuned across his show.  If he actually had an audience I'm sure someone would have calibrated his attitude.  I guess he is fortunate that he has such a small audience.
