30-year-old Chris M. Smith, Jr. of Berwick and 52-year-old Jamie Boudreaux of Patterson were arrested on Tuesday after St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert says his office responded to 35 complaints over the last 24 hours.

Smith was arrested after deputies received a complaint of a credit card being used at different locations without the card owner's permission. The investigating detective says Smith allegedly illegally used the card three times at two businesses in Bayou Vista. Smith faces 3 counts of unauthorized use of an access card. He turned himself in. Bail has not been set.

Boudreaux was arrested for allegedly issuing worthless checks and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of Schedule I drugs. His bail has been set at $2,500.00 and he was issued a summons to appear in court on November 2, 2015.
