Fire Chief Of Indian Bayou Passes Away

Kevin Villejoin, the fire chief of Indian Bayou, died Sunday.

According to our news partners at KATC, Villejoin spent the last seven years as fire chief after spending 27 years serving on the Indian Bayou Volunteer Fire Department. Among his accomplishments as chief, he was able to secure two new fire trucks, as well as new equipment, for his firefighters.

He was 48 years old.
