Fire Destroys Shreveport Home; 4 Escape

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — Shreveport firefighters say four people escaped when an early morning fire destroyed a house.

The blaze was reported just before 6 a.m. in Shreveport's Allendale area.

Two children and two adults were in the house when the fire was discovered. All got out safely.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
