Fire Set At Bastrop High School

BASTROP, La. (AP) — The state Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a fire at Bastrop High School.

Fire Marshal Butch Browning says the fire was reported around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Browning tells The News-Star started in a closet in the gym.

He says investigators determined the fire was intentionally set, and authorities have developed a suspect.

Browning says the fire caused minor damage to the school.
