Glenn Fleming of Acadiana Gunworks joined 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' today and discussed a number of gun related issues.

Fleming noted one of the most asinine statements he had ever heard was recently made in Colorado by House Majority Leader Dickey Lee Hullinghorst.  According to Fleming,

She said, 'You don't have to carry a gun to protect yourself because the State Legislature will do it for you'.

When asked about the ACLU and the NRA joining forces to investigate a possible NSA gun registry Fleming said,

The one thing they can both agree on is that the NSA is doing bad things...Both the NRA and ACLU are concerned with is that the NSA is spying on background checks when you buy a gun.  They're intercepting the data when it's sent from the dealer and that way they can compile an illegal nationwide registry of who owns guns.

Fleming noted that a recent anti-gun rally in Columbus, Ohio didn't go as planned.

It was interesting that the anti-gun folks were far outnumbered by the pro-gun folks that the anti-gun rally turned into a pro-gun rally.  I guess 90% of the anti-gun control people didn't feel like showing up.

Glenn also discussed an executive order signed by President Obama concerning trusts, LLCs and inheritances of NFA type weapons and a move in Louisiana to ensure that persons over the age of 18 will be allowed to buy handguns.  You can hear all of Flemings comments by taking a listen to the interview:
