This week on 'Firearms Friday' Glenn Fleming joined Ken Romero and Dr. John Sutherlin from the Outdoor Expo at the Cajundome. As usual the first order of business was a safety item. Fleming said,

With hunting season coming up I wanted to remind people in most cases it's mandatory for a hunter to take a mandatory safety course. I just wanted to remind people because it might not be something people new to Louisiana are aware of.

Being he was calling in from the Outdoor Expo we asked if there were any etiquette tips he might offer to listeners. According to Fleming,

When you go to gun shows it's pretty much a good idea to ask before you pick up guns from the table...If you're kid has been eating buttered popcorn it's best to not let him handle a gun.

Fleming said it was easy to find him and the Acadiana Gunworks Booth at the Outdoor Expo.

We have a .50 caliber machine gun on display which makes it easy to find us and if you want to take a picture with it, come on down. Even if you've been eating buttered popcorn.

Fleming also discussed a Tennessee restaurant that has greatly improved revenues by welcoming 'conceal carry' owners and a Pennsylvania doctor who stopped a potential massacre with a concealed weapon and may get fired.
