FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — Firefighters in Arizona and California have their hands full battling wildfires.

In Arizona, a blaze between Flagstaff and Sedona increased to 32 square miles yesterday. In the foothills of Central California, a blaze has grown to 1,300 acres, and fire officials are urging residents in parts of Mariposa County to evacuate.

The blaze has destroyed three buildings and is 20 percent contained.
