Fires Set At Lafayette Home

Two fires have been intentionally set in a house in the 100 block of Lana Drive and Lafayette firefighters are trying to figure out who did it.

Lafayette Fire Department spokesman Alton Trahan says firefighters were called out to the home around 7:30 a.m. Monday morning after a neighbor called it in. The rental property sustained minor fire damage.

No one was living there and the home had been vacant for about two weeks.
