First Repsonders Honored

It was the pleasure of Townsquare Media, and our sponsors, to have the opportunity to honor dozens of first responders from Acadiana at a banquet that happened Tuesday, December 5 at the Petroleum Club. The room was decked out in the most wonderful Christmas finery that the Petroleum Club could offer, and their superb food and service delighted the many first responders that we brought together to honor that night.

There were multiple law enforcement officers, paramedics, fire fighters, marshalls and other first responders honored at "Acadiana's Best First Responder's Banquet".

A banquet is only a small measure of gratitude that can be showed to the men and women who run into the face of danger, usually each day.

From KPEL, all of the stations of Townsquare Media Lafayette and our sponsors, we thank each and everyone who serves their community.

We could not have made this year's event possible without the help of Service Chevrolet Cadillac at 1212 Ambassador Caffery. They did not hestitate at the chance to show how much the community appreciates first responders.

There were a variety of table sponsors that showed their support along with Acadian Total Security, who showed their support by sponsoring the photo booth, so each and every first responder could take home a picture or more of the night's events.
