Guilty pleas have been entered for five of seven people accused in 2009 of raping a child in Vermillion Parish over the course of several years. Lauri Hulin, Assistant District Attorney for the 15th Judicial District, says sentences for Jeremy Kline, Adam Marceaux, Ben Hargrave, Brennan Lebouef, and Brennan Soirez include suspended sentences, supervised probation, and sex offender registrations.

Kline pleaded to one count of carnal knowledge of a juvenile. He received a four-year suspended sentence, two years of supervised probation, and a 15-year sex offender registration requirement.

Hargrave pleaded to carnal knowledge of a juvenile. He received an eight-year prison sentence, but all but two years has been suspended. One of those years can be served with an ankle bracelet while under house arrest. Hargrave also receives five years of supervised probation and must register as a sex offender for 15 years.

Lebouef pleaded guilty to carnal knowledge of a juvenile and received a five-year suspended sentence with two years of supervised probation. He must register for 15 years as a sex offender.
