According to Attorney General Jeff Landry five people were arrested by his Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

Rickey Simpson of Shreveport was charged with three counts of Medicaid Fraud for allegedly submitting false time sheets.

Janell Manning of Haynesville was charged with two counts of fraud for allegedly causing the submission of false claims.

Debbie Lenoir of Baton Rouge was arrested and charged with one count of Medicaid fraud for allegedly overlapping her billable hours.

Chasity Jones of Gretna was charge with one count of fraud for allegedly causing the submission of false claims.

Ambreon Jones of Ferriday was charged with one count of Medicaid fraud for allegedly submitting false service documentation.

All of them were booked into the East Baton Rouge Correctional Facility.

Attorney General Landry said,

Fraudulent claims to the Medicaid program will be investigated and the scammers will be arrested. My office and I are committed to rooting out fraud wherever it exists. We will do all we can to protect the Medicaid program for people who really need the help.
