Flooding To Push Gas Prices Up
Massive Mississippi River flooding may cause higher gas prices in the U.S. There are concerns that record flooding could disrupt refinery operations in Southern states. The flood-threatened refineries account for about 14 percent of gasoline refined in the United States. Domestic gas prices are already averaging four-dollars per gallon nationwide.
