Louisiana State Troopers say a Florida man is dead today after a crash on US Highway 90 in Bayou Vista.  Trooper Stephen Hammons, spokesman for Louisiana State Police Troop I, says 48-year-old Roger Goza of Pensacola, Florida lost control of his truck and it flipped over.

According to the investigating troopers, Goza was driving his 2007 Ford truck westbound on 90 around 1:50 a.m. when for unknown reasons, he lost control of the truck in a curve.  The truck then went off the road, struck a private drive and it overturned. Goza, who was restrained, was pronounced dead at the scene by the St. Mary Parish Coroner.

Troopers suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash.  Toxicology samples were obtained and will be submitted to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis.  This crash remains under investigation.
