The top-seeded Florida Gators and the third-seeded Michigan Wolverines were both victorious in Women's College World Series action on Sunday at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, advancing them into the championship series.

The championship series, a best-of-three game format, begins on Monday evening.

Florida, the defending national champions, stayed unbeaten in the WCWS, and improved to 58-6 on the season, after defeating the Auburn Tigers, 3-2, in 9 innings, to earn a spot in this year's finals.

Michigan, the 2005 national champions, also remained undefeated in WCWS play, and improved to 59-6 on the season, by eliminating the LSU Tigers, 6-3, their 28th-consecutive victory, to advance into the finals.

The first game of the series is scheduled for Monday night at 7 o'clock (central time), followed by the second game on Tuesday evening, also at 7 pm.

If necessary, the third and deciding game would take place on Wednesday night at 7 o'clock.
